Since our inception in 2014, we have grown considerably and are considered one of the leading distributors of high-quality industrial water treatment products throughout North America.

We have strong relationships with the leading manufacturers of these products, which allows us to optimize pricing and availability. We offer nationwide warehousing for fast and reliable delivery times.

Our product line includes an extensive selection of products needed in the industrial water treatment market. These include biocides, algicides, scale/corrosion inhibitors, biofilm control, membrane anti-scalants/cleaners, glycol-based heat transfer fluids, antifoams/defoamers, amines and general/industrial chemicals.

Leisa Corbett-DeMartino

Leisa has over 30 years of experience working in the field of water treatment chemical technology and distribution. After graduating from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Leisa spent time as a research chemist with GTE Technologies and Houghton Chemical Corporation. While at Houghton Chemical she held many positions including chemist, water treatment technical sales manager, and technical director.  Her interest in water treatment and desire to assist customers by providing them with quality water treatment products and technical information/support,  led her to form Commonwealth Chemical Specialties, LLC in 2014.  Since its inception, Commonwealth Chemical Specialties, LLC by teaming up with leading chemical manufacturers and experts in the water treatment field, has provided and continues to provide high quality industrial water treatment products, and  technical services, including technical training seminars, to the IWT market.

Our Core Foundation

 We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and our ability to offer our customers more than an “order taking approach.” We have the added value of being able to source products that our customers are having difficulty procuring.   Our technical team will work with you when needed to find the best solution for your industrial water treatment needs. We are known for our technical training seminars which we conduct in person and via Microsoft Teams conference calls.

Commonwealth Chemical Specialties, LLC was founded by Leisa Corbett-DeMartino. Leisa has a BS in Chemistry from Boston College and over 35 years technical experience in industrial water treatment and product distribution. She has built long time relationships with her customers, producers, regulatory departments, and leaders in technical areas of industrial water treatment.

We are proud members of the Association of Water Technologies (AWT), Cooling Technology Institute (CTI), American Chemical Society (ACS) and we are a contributor to the Society for Science. It is through these associations and other conferences we attend that we are able learn new up to date technologies and continue to build relationships which benefit our customers.
